All trips are for 1 - 6 passengers and include bottled water, ice, safety equipment, and access to head (restroom). Fishing trips will also include all rods/reels, terminal tackle, bait, fishing license, and cleaning of your catch.
About Captain Joyce
Joyce DeLaCour is a USCG licensed captain as well as a Florida licensed physical therapist who has been fishing Tampa Bay and the Gulf of Mexico off Manatee and Sarasota Counties since 1990 targeting grouper, kingfish, snapper, jacks, trigger fish, snook, redfish, sea trout, black drum, tuna, Spanish mackerel, hogfish, pompano and whatever else bites.
In addition to having fabulous times fishing, Joyce and her guests experience spectacular views of Florida sunsets, breeching dolphin, manatees, flying fish and a glimpse of loggerhead and leatherback sea turtles.
Joyce decided to share these experiences with others and launched JoyFish, LLC, doing business as JoyFish Charters.

Do we need to be experienced fishers?
No, instruction and assistance will be provided if needed.
Is food or beverage provided?
Bottled water and ice only. Please bring lunch and drinks.
What do I need to bring along?
Weather-appropriate clothing, hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, food, whatever you'd like to drink beyond bottled water, and photo ID. No black soled shoes please.
Can I bring a cooler?
Small coolers are permitted, but must be safely stowed.
Onboard cooler available.
What happens if I need to cancel?
24 hour cancellation notice is appreciated.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Captain will cancel. Refund or reschedule - your choice.
What are the times?
Departure times are flexible pending trip length.

Are the prices per person?
No, the prices are per trip and include up to 6 passengers.
Do I need a fishing license?
No, captain's license includes all.
Is alcohol permitted onboard?
Yes, you may bring your own alcohol.
Do you sell alcohol?
No, alcohol will not be sold on this charter boat.
Where do we board?
Kingfish Boat Ramp or a location most convenient to you.
What method of payment do you accept?
Cash, Venmo, or credit card.
Is there a bathroom onboard?
Yes, a private head is located onboard.
Can we keep what we catch?
Yes, pending FWC regulations for saltwater species.
Will you clean our legal catches?
Yes. Bags/ice will be provided.
Are rods, reels and bait provided?
Yes, but feel free to bring your own.

You agree to have fun! JoyFish Charters allows you to enjoy the local Florida waters in a fun and non-intimidating atmosphere.

Passengers are not required to have boating or fishing experience, but must be able to take orders from the captain.

There are no guarantees of the number or type of fish you catch or the number of dolphins you will see.

Payment is due at pick up, and prices are set.

Photo ID of primary passenger is required prior to boarding.

Captain has the right to cancel the trip due to inclement weather or unruly behavior.

Negative attitudes or unsafe actions will not be tolerated, and passengers will be returned to pick-up location.
